Meet our Massage Therapists
We have two phenomenal Massage Therapists at our facilities!
I’m Katherine and I look forward to being your Wellness Professional. I have a passion for health and wellness, and I believe the body has an innate ability to heal itself if taken care of properly.
My clinical education was done at Irene’s Myomassology Institute, where I graduated from in 2006. I was fortunate to have had Irene Gauthier, the schools founder and a pioneer in the field of massage, as my instructor and mentor.
After graduation, I completed 3 apprenticeships and spent 4 years as an Assistant Instructor.
My style of massage is what is known as “outcome based”. I will tailor your session using a variety of therapeutic techniques combined with relaxation modalities to bring you a unique healing experience. Whether it’s pain relief, increased range of motion, or just plain stress relief, I rely on my intuition to assist me in helping you feel better!

Types of Massage
Therapeutic Massage provides an emphasis on structural integration and proper muscle function to support pain relief, ease of movement/range of motion, improved duration (holding) of chiropractic treatments and overall wellness.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage, but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).
Swedish massage therapy is the modality that comes to mind when most people think about massage. As the best-known type of bodywork performed today, one of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body. This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. But Swedish massage therapy goes beyond relaxation. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.
Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone Massage is a form of massage therapy that follows the same principles of Swedish Massage with the addition of heated stones, which helps lead to deep relaxation. Adding heat to specific areas on the body enhances the feelings of relaxation and peace. Recommended in particular for individuals suffering from fibromyalgia, arthritis or other chronic pain. The penetrating effects of the heated stones allows the massage to be delivered without excessive pressure.
Foot Reflexology massage can be a deeply relaxing and therapeutic modality for those suffering from plantar fasciitis, ankle injuries or even everyday work and play. At Massage Envy, your massage therapist will apply traditional Swedish and sports massage techniques to the foot, calf and upper leg. This will not only help relieve toe pain, ankle pain, plantar fasciitis and common forms of arthritis, but can also decrease stress and anxiety in the entire body. In addition, a variety of stretches can be beneficial. With pain and sensitivity in the foot, heel and calf areas, be sure to communicate your pain levels with your massage therapist during your treatment. It is also a good idea to rest after receiving the reflexology massage.
Cranial Sacral Therapy Massage
Cranial sacral therapy (also known as craniosacral therapy) is a gentle, noninvasive form of bodywork that addresses the bones of the head, spinal column and sacrum. The goal is to release compression in those areas which alleviates stress and pain.
Cranial sacral therapy seeks to restore the natural position of the bones and can decrease stress from chronic injuries as well as provide relief from migraine headaches, neck and back pain, temporomandibular joint disorder (the inflammation of the joint that connects the lower jaw to the skull) and more.
AromaTouch Technique Massage
AromaTouch Technique is a clinical approach to applying Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils along energy meridians and visceral contact points of the back and feet to help balance sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems of the body.
The AromaTouch Technique includes four primary steps designed to minimize systematic stressors to autonomic balance. Each Step includes the specific application two essential oils or essential blends specifically formulated to support healthy emotional and physiological functions for wellbeing.
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage

Benefits of Massage
You know that post-massage feeling. Your mind is clear and your body is relaxed. An occasional massage leaves you feeling great, but regular massage can do so much more. The work your therapist does in each session builds on itself, helping your body maintain its relaxed state and your muscles to remain loose even during times of physical and mental stress.
Taking care of your body should be at the top of your priorities. By adding therapeutic massage to your routine now, you’ll feel, look and simply be healthier far into the future. In fact, stress relief alone can improve your vitality and state of mind. So what better way to prep for a long, happy life than a relaxing, therapeutic massage?
Energy healing is a holistic practice that activates the body’s subtle energy systems to remove blocks. By breaking through these energetic blocks, the body’s inherent ability to heal itself is stimulated.
